Rachel Vanbuskirk, LMSW
Rachel VanBuskirk is a Licensed Masters Social Worker. She graduated from Grand Valley State University. Rachel’s social work career began working with a local Hospice organization where she spent multiple years working with patients at the end of life as well as with their families. Her work with Hospice was diverse and included various ages, races, religious affiliations, and family dynamics. This work emphasized the importance of each day and each stage of life.
Currently as a practitioner working with individuals to empower them is her passion. She offers person centered therapy and is committed to hearing you and working collaboratively with you in a confidential, safe, nonjudgmental environment. She believes that each phase of life is important and comes with its own unique set of stressors and complications. Rachel is available to those going through affair recovery, divorce, relationship problems, anxiety, depression, grief, infertility, miscarriage, codependency, college issues, abuse issue, bereavement, coping and those facing chronic or terminal medical conditions.
Along with Her degree, license and clinical experience, she is a working mother, Army wife, daughter, sister and friend. She believes that no two people are alike. No two situations or experiences are alike. We all react, cope and learn from life experiences differently. Rachel works alongside patients to make a personalized plan for long-term success.
